(Obtained the certificate by Bureau Veritas Japan Co., Ltd. in April 2001.)

1. We will supply valuable products based on our Management Philosophy and Quality Idea.
2. We establish Quality Objectives, implement and evaluate activities by setting Quality Committee.
3. We supply products comply with customers requirements and applicable laws and regulations.
4. We will increase our customers satisfactions by continuously improving our Quality Management System.
5. “Quality Policy” is posed throughout our company and read by employees to promote better understanding.
It is also released to relavant stakeholders.

We, Nikka Seiko, implement our EMS which meets ISO 14001 at Utsunomiya Plant.
(Obtained the certificate by Bureau Veritas Japan Co., Ltd. in December 2003.)

Nikka Seiko Co., Ltd. recognizes that the activity for environmental conservation is one of the most important subjects, and implements the environmental activity on all of our business, and in order to contribute to improvement of global environment, conservation of the resources, as well as protection of environmental pollution, we attempt continuous improvements of the activity.

Environment Policy

Utsunomiya Plant shall recognize that NIkka Seiko mainly works for manufacturing chemical products for supporting advanced technologies of electronics industry, and considering influence of characteristics as well as capacity of our products and activities to Environment, we establish, practice and maintain Environmental Management System in order to reduce load to Environment.

a. We will set Environment Objectives conformed to our Environmental Policy and review them regularly.
b. We will work for the prevention of Environmental Pollution and the protection of Environment.
c. We will comply with applicable legal requirements relevant to Utsunomiya Plant’s Environmental aspects as well as other requirements which Utsunomiya Plant agrees.
d. We will continuously improve our Environmental Management System in order to enhance our Environmental Performance.
e. We will have our Environmental Policy documented and maintain.
f. We will make our Environmental Policy known to all the employees and contracted workers in Utsunomiya Plant.
g. We will publicize Environmental Policy.
